Summary

• Prepare Gridshift 0.2.3 as an explicitly unreviewed public PWA candidate, with Pages workflows, exact artifact validation, calculation/release documentation, and regression tests.
• Disclose the shared-origin localStorage exposure on boredpolymath.github.io in the app and release documents. On 2026-11-03 Bored Polymath Studios chose to retain the Pages URL and explicitly accept this risk; the warning remains, and confidential utility data must not be stored there unless every same-origin publisher is trusted.
• Keep GitHub Pages deployment gated in the runbook. This PR does not enable Pages or merge to main.

Validation completed locally

• All 19 tests passed through Node's built-in node:test.run runner.
• PWA asset, release disclosure, calculation hand-check, exact Pages artifact, YAML, JavaScript syntax, and git diff --check validations passed.
• Chromium 148.0.7778.96 / Playwright 1.60.0 local /Gridshift/ smoke passed for v8 installation, offline reload, 390 px Settings layout, shared-origin disclosure, and Settings navigation while offline.
• A staged v7→v8 local update kept v7 active pending user acceptance, then activated v8, removed the old cache, and preserved the sample project data.

Remaining gates before public deployment

• Utility workflow review has not been arranged. Domain review is waived under the owner's revised criteria; outputs remain explicitly unreviewed and limited to exploratory use.
• Owner device/browser/date/build details remain recorded as not provided; independent physical-device and supported-browser testing is open.
• Live Pages deployment, production headers/MIME types, actual live smoke tests, full keyboard/screen-reader and WCAG review, storage eviction/private-browsing checks, and release tagging remain open.
• The owner accepted GitHub Pages visitor-IP logging and response-header limits. Do not enable Pages or merge a public deployment before the remaining launch gates and initial deployment approval are complete.
