Clicking on large files with many modification in Git panel freezes Atom. #1968
Checked that there is not already an Atom package that provides the described functionality: https://atom.io/packages
Description
Clicking on large files with many diffs (f.e. a JavaScript bundle file generated by Webpack) in the Git panel freezes Atom. It's even more annoying when somehow the file gets selected as the default selection when I open the panel, then I have to restart Atom. :(

The diff that freezes Atom (because I think that's the problem) is 67000 lines long.

Thanks for the report @trusktr! I believe we've been closing similar reports as a duplicate of #1759 if you want to subscribe there for updates.

@rsese Hello! Atom 1.36.0 works much better with big diffs now. Thanks!
I found that it still may take long to load certain big diffs like the following: https://gist.github.com/trusktr/175c7b1402c960daed3e022fdc1d79fe
