The NAS is bought: a Lenovo ThinkServer TS150, Xeon E3-1225 v6, 8 GB ECC, four 3.5" bays, no drives, no OS. Recorded in the roadmap's #95 paragraph, the README's purchase sentence (two drives still to buy), and hardware.md as in transit.

It is not the "quiet N100-class NAS" ADR-0008 and ADR-0016 pictured, and the docs say so rather than smooth it: a 73 W desktop Xeon in a tower that will not rack, against a 6 W part in a shoebox. What it brings instead: ECC under the ZFS mirror ADR-0016 asks for, four real bays, and a Kaby Lake iGPU with Quick Sync for Jellyfin (#138). The OS decision in ADR-0016 stands — Ubuntu Server and one compose stack, not an appliance.

Docs only; make check-docs and scripts/lint.sh green. Refs #413.

…#413)

Lenovo ThinkServer TS150, Xeon E3-1225 v6, 8 GB ECC, four 3.5" bays, no
drives, no OS; bought 2026-09-09. ADR-0008 and ADR-0016 said "a quiet
N100-class NAS", and this is not that: a 73 W desktop Xeon in a tower that
will not rack, against a 6 W part in a shoebox. Recorded as the difference
it is. What it brings that the pictured box did not: ECC under the ZFS
mirror the ADR asks for, four real bays, and a Kaby Lake iGPU with Quick
Sync for #138's transcoding.

Roadmap's #95 paragraph stops saying nothing is bought; README's purchase
sentence names the two drives that still are; hardware.md carries the box
as in transit until it is placed, addressed and in network.md. Refs #413.
