In src/vscode-tree/vscode-tree.ts the select event detail is declared as a structured object

elements/src/vscode-tree/vscode-tree.ts

Line 20 in b82f8fb

export type VscTreeSelectEvent = CustomEvent<{selectedItems: VscodeTreeItem[]}>;

but the actual event detail is filled with just an array

elements/src/vscode-tree/vscode-tree.ts

Lines 246 to 252 in b82f8fb

private _emitSelectEvent() {
const ev = new CustomEvent('vsc-tree-select', {
detail: Array.from(this._treeContextState.selectedItems),
});
this.dispatchEvent(ev);
}
