Reproduction Rate

Observed only that time.

Expected behavior

No warning.

Impact

No idea sorry.

    The kernel is not sending SOF_IPC_GLB_STREAM_MSG:SOF_IPC_STREAM_POSITION, so it is not triggered by that.
    The only other place where it is called is in src/audio/host.c host_update_position() if hd->no_stream_position is 0.
    This kernel patch moved the setting out from hda to higher level: 9cce2adefa0084cfe (thesofproject/linux/pull/3303) I don't see anything broken in that commit.

    The only way that could happen seems to be if pipeline_comp_timestamp() returns 0 after finding an inactive component. And the topology has a mixer in it, so I could suspect the mixer FSM not playing well with my recent changes in this case too. But I also see those warnings on pipeline 2 in the log above, and that pipeline has no mixers in it... Herbert, Marc if you could create an issue and assign it to me I'd appreciate it,
