   @Jiangxinx why did you use sof-hda-generic.tplg? did you get fw from cml-003 branch and topology from master branch?

   You should use topology from the same branch as fw.

   Please rebuild and try again.

   I just used sof-hda-intel-common.tplg from cml-003 branch , and renamed it to sof-hda-generic.tplg.
   This issue can still be reproduced on daily test. Pulseaudio have no sound, and failed to check runtime status.

   Step:
   1.paplay Music/California_Dreaming_48k_16bit.wav -vvvv

   Opening a playback stream with sample specification 's16le 2ch 48000Hz' and channel map 'front-left,front-right'.
   Connection established.
   Stream successfully created.
   Buffer metrics: maxlength=4194304, tlength=384000, prebuf=380164, minreq=3840
   Using sample spec 's16le 2ch 48000Hz', channel map 'front-left,front-right'.
   Connected to device alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3-platform-skl_hda_dsp_generic.stereo-fallback (index: 0, suspended: yes).

   @Jiangxinx It looks like problem with FW booting. Does it also reproduce with aplay? This message is weird: Connected to device alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3-platform-skl_hda_dsp_generic.stereo-fallback (index: 0, suspended: yes).

   @Jiangxinx usually pulseaudio will "probe" the capabilities of each PCM device and this is where most of any breakage will occur. So I would really expect to see IPC timeout or FW/driver crash here, but in this case it appears PM/boot related. Can you confirm this is only an issue with WHL and pulseaudio works with the same topology on other platforms.

   According to Michal: cml-0003 is not for HDA, please validate it on master.
   I tested on master and got sound, but the sound is not enjoyable.

    sorry， I find that I disable PM on WHL. I get fw load failed with pm enabled. I will work on it.
