I used nocodec since I am getting i915 errors otherwise.
Am I the first one to test this? @bardliao @libinyang I thought you had tested on ICL?

@fredoh9 had also tested ICL at some point I think
plbossart commentedon Apr 15, 2019
FWIW, I am getting a similar issue with the kernel sof-dev-upstream-v5-patches, so the firmware hasn't booted on ICL for a solid month.
plbossart commentedon Apr 15, 2019
same with integration/sound-trigger from early March.
xiulipan commentedon Apr 15, 2019
@plbossart
You need to inject the OEM key into the BIOS or use some other BIOS.
@fredoh9
This is what I have talked to you about enable platforms.
wenqingfu commentedon Apr 17, 2019
is it clarified? @plbossart anything can be translated into a PR or close this issue?
plbossart commentedon Apr 17, 2019
no. It's not clear if my board has the right key and/or if the SOF signing actually works.
xiulipan commentedon Apr 18, 2019
@plbossart
The 0x8000012 the error message the key is invalid.
@bardliao @stevyan @DarrenxWang
Could you help to check if current code work on ICL RVP. Only boot test is needed
stevyan commentedon Apr 24, 2019
Summary
Not reproduce, the DUT can boot normally on ICL RVP nocodec.

Thanks for testing, I'll try and check with an updated BIOS.
