Summary
Kernel panic when tried to play sound more than 3 times via HDMI (hw:0,3)

To Reproduce

  1. aplay -Dhw:0,3 -f dat
  2. ctrl + c
  3. repeat 1,2 more than 3 times

Actual behavior
Kernel panic occurred.

Environment
Kernel: rander/cml-validation-branch (topic/sof-dev 58d1b6b + issue 767 regression fix + DMIC patch)
Firmware: master ed6ac05 (revert the commit f5e7843)

    From the dmesg, the position update mode is wrong. This may cause many bugs. So we must fix the position update mode issue firstly.

    We should use xPIB mode instead of IPC position update.

    This issue can not be reproduced on GLK.
