[BDW] Beating noise when PulseAudio is active#2200

On Broadwell Dell XPS 13, I can hear a loud beating noise when PulseAudio starts. The noise stops 5s after PulseAudio becomes idle. No problem with aplay -Dhw:0,0.

Configuration w/ Debian testing and UCM2 from alsa-project/alsa-ucm-conf#32

@lgirdwood can you try and install the latest sof-dev kernel on this device and let me know if you can reproduce this?

    kernel configuration to get the DSP to boot: need

    # CONFIG_ACPI_REV_OVERRIDE_POSSIBLE is not set

    sof-dev-defconfig.txt

    Debian issue not reproduced with Ubuntu, closing. Gah
