Getting error while updating host and port for a connection in on-premise tableau solution

working on the cloud solution but failing on the on-premise solution
Results
error while updating the host and port of a connection on on-prem tableau solution :
400033: Bad Request
There was a problem updating connection information for datasource 'b4e8f1bf-96b0-48d6-91ce-438fc4271dc7'.. (0x5CE10192 : java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "java.lang.Boolean.booleanValue()" because the return value of "com.tableausoftware.domain.content.dataconnections.entity.DataConnection.isUsingRemoteQueryAgent()" is null)

More information is required to attempt to reproduce. Can you provide a code snippet? What type of database is it?

I can see what's happening here, it will require a server fix.

It was HANA Database. it worked after a restart of the Database.
