     • Some have multiple (-dev, -new, -user, etc.)
   • Many options, but 2 most common:
     • mailman
     • Google Groups
   • Good resource for learning how a community interacts
     • lurking on the listserv
     • reviewing the archives
   • Moderated or not?
   • How to (un)subscribe?
     • Check (link to how to ask questions) page for your project
     • For mailman…
   • Etiquette
     • Inline replies vs. top replies
     • text-only vs. html replies
   • Archived and publicly available (read: don't be a dumbass)
