What to build

A view lists every managed database that is provisioning for the first time: its name, its engine, the step the platform is on right now, its state, and how long the run has taken. Opening a row shows that instance's receipt: one line per step, each one either confirmed by something the platform emitted or honestly marked as not heard.

A restart or a resize never appears here: those emit none of the signals a receipt is built from, so a receipt for one would confirm nothing forever.

Acceptance criteria

  • The view lists the instances that are provisioning for the first time, and nothing else.
  • Each row names the step the run is on right now, in the platform's own vocabulary.
  • Opening a row shows its receipt: the ordered steps, the state of each, and the stamp of the signal that confirmed it.
  • An instance that is restarting, resizing or reconfiguring is absent from the list.
  • A run that failed shows the step it died on and the reason, on the receipt.
  • The demo account contains one instance mid-provision, so all of this is visible without spending money.
