   Thanks for raising this @vdovhanych

   I believe we're going to bump the minimum Node Version to 16 as soon as 18 enters the LTS status (October 2022). https://nodejs.org/en/about/releases/

   For the time being, I think it's better to stick to 14 to make sure we're testing against that specific version. We had problems on iOS where some of our scripts relied on Node 16 capabilities. At least for Android, let's stick to Node 14 so we don't break users on that Node version.

   currently in react native is define to use node 16 https://github.com/facebook/react-native/blob/main/.node-version
   also i am trying to build a library using https://github.com/callstack/react-native-builder-bob and the minimum node version is 16

   so i will appreciate if we merge this change

   Please note that React Native currently has a minimum supported version of node being 14, and a suggested one being 16 (hence the .node-version file).

   Nope. I think we should bump the min Node version to 16 and land the change you requested. But this requires a bit of a discussion on the React Native side
