In src/Tabs.tsx, onInternalTabClick was defined as an inline function recreated on every render:

Because tabNavBarProps.onTabClick receives this reference, onTabClick changes identity on every single render of <Tabs />. When consumers or custom renderTabBar components memoize tab bar items or depend on onTabClick in hooks/memoization, this reference churn defeats memoization and triggers unnecessary sub-tree re-renders.

Solution

Wrap onInternalTabClick with useEvent from @rc-component/util (matching how useEvent is already used in src/TabNavList/index.tsx for scrollToTab). This maintains a permanently stable function reference while always calling the freshest closures for onTabClick, onChange, and setMergedActiveKey.

Verification

• Added unit test in tests/index.test.tsx verifying onTabClick reference stability across re-renders in renderTabBar.
• All 6 test suites and 112 unit tests pass (pnpm test).
• Type check passes (pnpm run tsc).
