General type aliases #298

Closed

Description

@JukkaL

It should be possible to define type aliases for all types, not just non-generic instance types. For example, these should be valid:

X = List[int]
def () -> X: ...
a = X()
Y = Tuple[int, str]
F = Function[[int, str], bool]

    Tagged also as bug since current some of the above cause the type checker to crash.
