If you are on linux, simply install nasm, libtool, make. Then you should be able to install from the source distribution. In theory that should also be possible on MacOS and Windows.
Alternatively you can install isa-l via conda. And then set the environment variable PYTHON_ISAL_LINK_DYNAMIC to 1. Then install the source distribution.
If that is too complex, I recommend not running python prereleases. I do not intend to provide wheels for moving targets.
