Glew fails to initialize when running on wayland linux. #9

When running any applet on Wayland glew when compiled to run with X11 will fail to initialize with an "unknown error".
This error can actually be ignored, since it refers to the fact that there's no X11 session available, but the wayland session will work correctly.

Technically this is a glew issue, but easily fixable on this side also.
