All entry points go through index.php file in the root of the www folder. In nginx this is from the "try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php;" line. If you try to use apache, you will need to create quite inclusive set of mod_rewrite rules (that I have not created.)
If the URL in your browser is ever "setup.php" then you likely have the docroot set incorrectly. The docroot of the webserver should be the www subfolder in the pipecode source. An example screenshot is here: http://pipecode.org/images/screenshot-setup.png
The setup script requires write access to the root of the pipecode source directory in order to create the conf.php that contains the main configuration (like the SQL connection strings.) Make sure the fpm php worker process are running under a user account that has sufficient rights to the directory.
Well, i did all the setup by hand due a bug on setup.php, i figured it how it works, etcetara, now i have an issue, i created a topic and make a example story, approbed that story and i get this:
error: sql [select count(*) as item_count from article where match (title) against (? in boolean mode) and publish_time > ? and publish_time < ? and article.feed_id <> ] arg [lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, 1444603211, 1447195211] msg [SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
The "drive" is a simple "object storage" system that will eventually span multiple computers. For example, if the hard drive fills up on server1, then files should still be writable on server2, etc. At the moment, however, everything is still expecting a single server.
The "item_count from article" sql error above is from the "Similar Articles" feature. Add a RSS news feed to the site (http://barrahome.org/atom) to create a record in the feed table. The code should then automatically figure out the $server_feed_id variable that is currently blank and messing things up.
Could insert a record manually to get around it for now. First make a valid short id:
insert into short (type_id) values (50)
Then perform a select to see the automatically assigned "short_id" created from that record and use that as the "feed_id" to manually insert a feed record:
If you are not expecting to use the RSS feed reader feature, I could probably make that an optional checkbox that can be toggled in the settings page (like twitter and such is now)
There is no delete button. For Pipedot, I didn't want the ability for anyone (even editors) to remove stories or comments. (the whole anti-censorship thing)
However, editors can "hide" comments. They mark the item as "Junk" and most people will not see them (unless they have the "Show Junk" checkbox selected in their settings)

Can't install it on Apache, no success. Can you create the rules for mod_rewrite or some kind of tutorial please?
bet0x commentedon Oct 26, 2015
Finally i managed to get it working, but during the setup i get this:
bet0x commentedon Oct 26, 2015
Fixed, DB can't have a _ as prefix or suffix, now here:
I made the rewrite rules:
Also setup didn't insert my user data i think.

Also captcha is not working.

Also, uploading or deleting an avatar gives the next error:
zenbi commentedon Oct 27, 2015
for the drive_data error add the following line to your conf.php:
at some point, you'll also want to insert a corresponding record into the "drive_server" table with the dns name of your server:

Regarding the data on drive_server, must be the server_name wich i'm using for the website?
zenbi commentedon Oct 27, 2015
The server name of the computer.

Great, and the error related to the story? you can check barrahome.org

Got a question, how i delete a story? or a journal entry? i didn't see any button for that!

You could, of course, manually delete the data from the SQL database (one row from the "story" table and the corresponding row from the "short" table)
