i make things that probably shouldn’t exist
| thing | what happened |
|---|---|
| acer-aspire14-ec | wrote a linux hwmon driver. expected 7.5. not mainline yet. lkml. fan rpm only. i do not control your fans. yet. |
| unacer | reverse-engineered acer sense → rust cli for silent/normal/performance on the aspire 14. this is how the kernel thing happened |
| desmosinator | made desmos play midi. graphing calculator → daw pipeline. |
| dappendble | wrote a database. it's fast because the index lives in ram. that's a feature |
| gopher-ctf | ctf platform for school. runs on postgres and sometimes |
| knewt · live | virtual newt that grows if you study. hackathon 4th place. 8 hours. the newt knows what you did |
| dustdev | offline browser ide. 9-hour hackathon. svelte. the live site currently vibes at http 500 |
| frostbyte | fps + spleef in 9 hours. the server url is dead. the dream is not. wait. its dead |
| MergeMaterial | tinder but for project ideas. swipe right on "build a blockchain for cats". also uses github as a backend somehow |
- rebar — wayland status bar. clone of a bar i liked. works on my pc only. classic
- lapis-mc — minecraft server manager #3. yes there are three. no i will not explain
Rust Go C Java Svelte Flutter Slint HID hwmon ungodly hours
- reverse-engineered an embedded controller because acer wouldn't give me fan control on linux. then the kernel took the fan-reading part. strange timeline
- once automated mouse clicks to draw in gartic phone. not anticheat proof. morally questionable.
- built a bakery website for some random local company. the styling was bad and i said so in the readme. that repo is gone. the pastry is forever
- my build system was called jild. java + build = jild. ba dum ts. naming peak. repo: private for now
- used github as a backend. MergeMaterial.
- once made an entire compiler for a stupid pun. worth it.
- finishing projects
- writing tests
- sleep schedules that humans would recognize
- whether dustdev.app returns 500 (it does)
also did a software eng internship at skipcourse (may–aug 2026). agentic ai + full-stack. then came home and wrote kernel code instead of touching grass.
if you're reading this you probably clicked through from one of my repos wondering "who made this"
