• reference.md: --depends-on NAME[:CONDITION][:optional] in the synopses and tables of create, start and run; a generate section; rm refuses a machine others depend on or take their network from unless they are named in the same command, which removes them first; inspect lists depends_on; generate among the commands that ask for org.nspawn.inspect; TAB completion after generate and --depends-on; the await-dependencies unit hook.
• machines.md: a Dependencies section (the conditions, systemd keeping the order at boot, what start prints, no time limit for a waiting start, stop, rm) and a section on making the same machines on another host with generate, with the output of a real run (postgres with a healthcheck, nginx with --depends-on db:healthy); the rm section covers dependencies and shared networks.
• networking.md: --depends-on NAME starts the owner of a container:NAME network first; rm takes an owner named together with the machines on its network.
• overview.md: --depends-on and generate in the feature list; generate among the org.nspawn.inspect methods.
