Five of the seven action items from the audit-implementation retro are addressed in this commit: CLAUDE.md (action #5): - Update Architecture section to reflect the actual post-audit shape (BaseInstrument is generic + non-frozen; instruments are no longer frozen; UnsetType lives in types.py; logging_factory.py is a new module). - Add a "Conventions" subsection with the no-PLR2004-noqa rule, the backward-compat alias pattern, the frozen-config setattr precedent, and the optional-import guard pattern. - Add a "Type checking" subsection documenting that `ty` is enforced and Pyright is intentionally not — with the specific false-positive patterns that motivate the project-level Pyright suppressions. pyproject.toml (action #3): - Add [tool.pyright] block disabling reportPossiblyUnbound, reportIncompatibleVariableOverride, reportTypedDictNotRequiredAccess with inline comments explaining why each is a known false positive for this project's patterns. Reduces IDE noise without affecting CI. Audit doc backfill (action #6): - Add LOW-10 for the Opentelemetry → OpenTelemetry capitalization rename. Tracked through PR6 review, PR12 review, and landed in PR15 but never recorded as a formal audit finding until now. Lightweight plan template + pre-flight grep (actions #1 + #2): - New docs/superpowers/templates/lightweight-plan-template.md captures both the template structure for sub-30-LOC PRs and the pre-flight grep methodology that would have caught PR13's frozen cascade at plan time. Deferred from the retro list: - Action #4 (real-time spec updates): pure process discipline, documented in the new template's "emergent rules" section. - Action #7 (trim two-stage review): defer until next effort surfaces a clear case where the second review provided zero marginal value. No production code changes. 129/129 tests still pass; `just lint` clean. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
