   #3003 landed the SEP-2133 framework: an Extension base class with ToolBinding/ResourceBinding/MethodBinding, declaration via MCPServer(extensions=[...]) / Client(extensions=[...]), capability advertisement, and require_client_extension gating (-32021 when absent) — with MCP Apps built on top as the first in-tree extension. Closing.
