Electrical engineering student at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), working in automation and data at Enel Brasil. I build tools for power distribution grids, solar energy and open energy data: power-flow studies, grid capacity maps, a site controller in Rust, and the small web apps that operations teams use every day.
| Project | What it answers | Built with |
|---|---|---|
| Brazil Reverse Flow (live) | Where does rooftop solar already push power back through Brazil's 6.2 million distribution transformers, hour by hour through 2025, when will growth overload the next ones, and what do the options of ANEEL's REN 1.098/2024 cost a new plant? With a Monte Carlo analysis, a growth model chosen by backtest and a validation against ANEEL's connection requests. | Python, ANEEL BDGD, ERA5, Leaflet |
| Grid Edge Gateway (live) | How does a site controller take a grid operator's dimming and feed-in commands (Germany §14a, Austria, Switzerland) over IEC 104, an FNN control box relay or EEBUS, enforce them on inverters, chargers, a heat pump and a battery, and plan the day on live prices and weather? | Rust, IEC 104, Modbus/SunSpec, EEBUS (Go), MPC, WebAssembly |
| LV Grid Stress Test (live) | How much rooftop PV, heat pumps and EV charging can a low-voltage grid host, which measures raise that limit, and how much more fits with flexible connections across a whole German state? | pandapower, SimBench, ding0 |
| Grid Solar Map (live) | How much solar sits behind each substation of the Saarland, how much more the grid takes firmly, and how much more with a flexible connection? | Python, MaStR, OpenStreetMap, Leaflet |
| Solar Peak Calculator (live) | What does Germany's Solar Peak Act cost a rooftop PV system, and does a battery or a smart meter pay off? | Python, SMARD, PVGIS, JavaScript |
All five run in the browser and are tested and deployed by GitHub Actions. The studies use public data only; the gateway runs a simulated site.
The Saarland map and the LV grid study find, per substation, how much solar fits firmly and how much more with a flexible connection. The gateway is the piece that keeps a site to that flexible limit on site. Brazil Reverse Flow asks the same question for Brazil, where ANEEL's REN 1.098/2024 now requires distributors to offer a power reduction or an hourly restriction before refusing a connection.
At Enel Brasil (electricity distribution, Ceará) I automate operations and reporting: an operations platform for a metering contract (field crew scheduling, complaints with deadline tracking, equipment; Supabase and PostgreSQL with row-level security), and Python and VBA automations for data pipelines and Power BI. That code belongs to the employer and stays private.
- Python: pandas, pandapower, GeoPandas, SciPy
- Rust: tokio, rustls, Clarabel, WebAssembly
- Go: eebus-go
- SQL and PostgreSQL, Supabase
- JavaScript, Leaflet, Chart.js
- Power BI, Excel and VBA
- Git and GitHub Actions
