Make more resilient to parsing failures

It'd be cool to have a mode that is more lenient, and e.g. outputs warnings and continues to parse when something unexpected appears.

How would that work? E.g. if it fails to parse one out of 3 features in a feature collection, it would return a 2-item feature collection? And if it fails to parse a geometry in a feature, it would return a feature with a null geometry? Is this something we would actually need?
