guifontwide not work until manual reload vimrc #726

Steps to reproduce
- add
guifontwidesetting to .vimrcset guifontwide=<FontName> - reopen MacVim, typing any double width character
- reload .vimrc by
source $MYVIMRC
What is expected
The double width character is exactly the font I set before or after reloading .vimrc
What is actually happening
The font only display correctly after reloading .vimrc
Example:
my setting
after reopen macvim
then reload vimrc

Do you use plugin vim-airline?
Have the same problem and comment out vim-airline can fix it.
Maybe powerline font impact guifontwide, don't sure.

After more try...
If open file with
drag to iconorright click menu, font is always correct no matter vim-airline used.Buf if open a new macvim window first, then use

@surmind thank you for further investigation. Could you ask the same question in vim-airline plugin? Their collaboration might be helpful as well
