Hello, I updated MacVim and my OS to Sierra and the font rendering (letter spacing?) seems to have changed.
On left, you can see what MacVim renders, on right you can see what iTerm2 renders (which matches perfectly to what MacVim used to render for me before the upgrade)
There is a definite change in the spacing, but I don't see any settings to change letter spacing back though.
I'm closing this as this is relatively old and the original filer isn't using this app anymore. Feel free to open new issues if you see further issues.

You can adjust letter spacing using
columnspace. My bet is you needset columnspace=-1.hakunin commentedon May 12, 2017

Are you using a recent version of macvim?

@hakunin did you find a solution for this ?
hakunin commentedon Nov 26, 2018
@ApolloTang not sure, I started using neovim in iterm2 that I toggle with a hotkey so I don't have a need for an app anymore.
