I really like the idea to have the picture in "full screen"
If you have a feature request in mind, open a new issue, maybe referencing the example video so we can discuss it properly.
Let's keep single issues/feature requests separated.
I tried fixing the animation behavior a while ago without much success but I wasn't much invested either. I've been thinking about it and my ideal scenario, other than improving the legacy one, would be letting the user choose from a list of animations. That's planned.
