[BUG] This version of Nextcloud is not compatible with > PHP #288
I am creating this issue to pin and replace existing issues that are all repeating the same issue. I am putting instructions to resolve the issue right in the top post so they are not buried in comments. I am also locking this issue so comments will not be allowed. If you are experiencing a different issue, please open a new bug report. If you have trouble with the instructions below, please visit our Discord https://discord.gg/YWrKVTn and open a support thread in our #container-support channel (after reading the #rules channel and verifying in the #welcome channel).
If you are receiving errors about PHP or issues with nginx or certificates:
Switch your image to lscr.io/linuxserver/nextcloud:24.0.6-ls204 and start the container
Execute docker exec -it nextcloud updater.phar repeatedly until there are no more updates (as of writing, Nextcloud 25 is the latest version)
Switch your image to lscr.io/linuxserver/nextcloud (latest, no tag) and start the container
Execute docker logs nextcloud and check for any other outdated configs, rename them with a .bak extension (like above)
Restart the container
Nextcloud should now be in a working state
Optional:
If you had customized any of the nginx configs that were renamed above, compare the .bak file to the new live file and apply any customizations you require
