We should be able for the moment to bump down the shader version
Yes! you can down it to version 4.1 (410) and to anyone else who also has this issue, I found a simple way to do it manually without compiling, here is how:
copy the lastest lambda jar into an empty folder
run these commands in your terminal (make sure the file name is correct, and that you cd into the correct folder
cd lambda_fix
unzip "lambda-0.0.2+1.21.5.jar"&& rm "lambda-0.0.2+1.21.5.jar"
find . -type f -name "*.glsl" -exec sed -i '''s/420/410/g' {} +
zip -r ../lambda-fixed-mac.jar .
then put the newly created lambda-fix jar into your mods folder, and it should work!
edit: fixed zip -r ./lambda-fixed-mac.jar . --> zip -r ../lambda-fixed-mac.jar . because if you zip it in the same folder, it will create an infinite loop of compiling the jar into the jar into the jar and so on.
