Document the six vault tools exposed by the MCP server (manage_vaults, manage_vault_credentials, manage_vault_items, manage_vault_wallets, manage_vault_cards, manage_vault_provider_configs) under a Vaults group in the MCP tools nav, and add the create-only vaults parameter to manage_browsers. These pages fill a real gap and are written clearly. Three things to fix before merge (inline):
- Stale 1Password guidance:
manage-vault-items.mdx:129 - Link card amount limit:
manage-vault-cards.mdx:40 vaultsrow onmanage-browsers: missing two contract facts
Cheap, but optional:
- Use one "required" convention in the parameter tables.
cards.providersays "Required.", butwallets.provider/speconly say "(create)" even though the tool rejects a create without them, andmanage_vault_provider_configsdoesn't mark what create needs or thatconfigis required for get/update/delete. Existing pages use "Required forgetanddelete." - The PR description says every page has the "only visible when vaults are enabled" note, but only
manage-vaultsdoes. Either add it to the other pages (a shared snippet would work) or update the description.
Follow-up, not blocking: several sections repeat rules that already live in vaults/fill.mdx, vaults/1password.mdx, and integrations/wallets/*, such as the fill retry paragraph, the payment reconciliation warning, and the AgentCard checkout flow. Item 1 shows how those copies go stale. Over time, trimming these pages to MCP-specific behavior (invoke rejecting unadvertised operations, wait only on get/events, error mapping, org-scoped writes) and linking out for the rest would keep them in sync.

| `fill_submitted` means the extension submitted the form, not that the login succeeded. Never retry `fill_unknown` in the same browser. If a request is uncertain, the item has no advertised operations; don't delete or recreate it to retry. |

"Never retry fill_unknown in the same browser" is the old wording. The MCP server and vaults/1password.mdx (#692) now say fill_unknown means the form may have been filled or submitted, so inspect the page to see the result of the fill. Can we update this line, or replace it with a link to the 1Password guide? The PR description's note that the 1pw_fill no-retry guidance is unchanged needs updating too.

50000 matches the API and stripe-link.mdx, but the MCP tool schema (linkCardSpecSchema) allows up to 500000, so this page will disagree with one of them either way. Suggest dropping the number and linking to Create and authorize a card item. The schema mismatch should be fixed separately in kernel-mcp-server.

Two facts from the tool schema are missing here: attaching a vault gives the browser access to every item in it, including items added later, and vaults can't be attached to pooled browsers. The first one matters for security.

nit: MCP turns logins into the API's requests: { version: 2, entries: [...] }, so this shape doesn't match what readers see in vaults/1password.mdx. One sentence saying how they map would help.

Approving. Please address the three inline items from my previous review before merging: the stale fill_unknown guidance, the Link card amount limit, and the vaults row on manage-browsers. The rest is optional.

Summary
The MCP server exposes six vault tools (listed in the kernel-mcp-server README), but the MCP server reference had no pages for any of them. This adds a Vaults group under MCP Server → Tools:
manage_vaults: create, list, get, delete vaults; also indexes the other vault toolsmanage_vault_credentials: KERNEL-hosted and 1Password credential paths, create/update specs,connect_accountmanage_vault_items: list/get/invoke/events/delete,fill,webmcp_invokeinputs, 1Password operationsmanage_vault_wallets: Link by Stripe and AgentCard wallet specs,payment_methodsmanage_vault_cards: Link by Stripe and AgentCard card request specsmanage_vault_provider_configs: organization-owned client configurationsAlso:
browser_replandwebmcp)vaultsparameter to themanage_browserspageParameters and behavior come from the tool schemas in
kernel-mcp-server/src/lib/mcp/tools/vault-*.ts. Each page carries the preview badge and notes that the tools only show up when vaults are enabled for the org.Consistency with recent vault changes:
fillis described as safe to retry after a failed or unknown outcome, matching Describe vault fill as safe to retry #687 and kernel-mcp-server#242. The no-retry guidance for1pw_fill,webmcp_invoke, and payments is unchanged.1pw_create_access_request,1pw_access_request_status) need no browser; only1pw_filluses the vault-attached browser. This matches the API change and Document browserless 1Password access requests #686.Testing

Overview
Adds MCP Server documentation for the six preview vault tools that were missing from the reference, grouped under Tools → Vaults in
docs.json.New pages cover
manage_vaults,manage_vault_credentials,manage_vault_items,manage_vault_wallets,manage_vault_cards, andmanage_vault_provider_configs(actions, parameters, examples, and safety notes such as fill retry behavior and payment reconciliation). The MCP Server overview gets a Vaults card, examples adds a “fill a login from a vault” walkthrough, andmanage_browsersdocuments the create-onlyvaultsattachment parameter.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit f920557.
