Suggestion: Add .25 Meter Increments to World Grid #38

Open

Description

@ZeroxAsuka

I got a chance to play with this mod, thank you so much for updating it for 1.0!!

As the title mentions is that something you could possibly do/add? May be have the precision key cycle through the different levels from .25 -> .5 -> 1 -> .25.
I'd imagine this would require a re-do of the world grid overlay you use and not to mention quite a bit of work.
If not possible, that is ok, just thought I would at least ask for the sake of more precision.
I am down to send something your way for it to be done...my addiction to precision knows no bounds

Actually. This is not THAT complicated of a change as you would expect.

Most of the machinery is already in place. The bigger problem is redesigning the World Grid visualization in such a way so this remains... well readable.

First I need to fix a bug that has been there in OCDheim since... well, forever. Then I hope to implement angled slopes, and then... I'll think on it 😉

Are you requesting only for 25cm precision in Grid mode or also in Snap Mode?

Oh nice nice, I figured the overlay would need to be reworked.
May I suggest just making it the little plus signs instead of having the plus signs and the squares?
Umm, as far as your question, I would say both but grid mode more so than anything else.
For snap mode that would be crazy to have like 81 snap points on a standard 2x2 piece....dare I say even, overkill D:

With all that said, if you so desire to do so or even have the time/willingness/patience.
I understand there are more important things in life than playing a game lol

@ZeroxAsuka I'm currently redesigning the World Grid to make it more readable in some conditions.

As part of this effort I will add SUPER-DUPER™ Precision to Grid Mode.

    Cheers
