Nested numbered lists broken in Gists

Nested numbered lists seem to not be recognized in gists.

It works on GitHub main and in issues, as can be seen here:

@wolf99, this solely affects lists without line breaks (which are inadvisable regardless), for with \ns, it renders as is expected:

1. Ordinate One

   1.1. Subordinate One

1. Ordinate Two
