Currently, there's an option to change the terminal font. It would be nice if there were also an option to change the app's UI font.
What problem are you trying to solve?
It improves accessibility by letting users choose a font that's easier for them to read. It also lets users customize the app's appearance and makes the experience more consistent, since the terminal font can already be changed.
Proposed solution
Add an option in the app's settings to let users choose the UI font, similar to the existing option for changing the terminal font.
Workflow impact
Users who want better readability, accessibility, or a more personalized experience would benefit from this. It improves the app experience without changing the existing workflow, since it's an optional customization.
I strongly support this request. Copilot CLI benefits from the terminal’s font customization, and VS Code provides separate controls for editor and terminal fonts. These options are essential for readability, accessibility, and quickly distinguishing code from surrounding UI.
The Copilot app currently uses a largely uniform font throughout, making content feel visually flat and harder to scan. Please support configurable font family and size, ideally with separate settings for code, chat content, and general UI text.
Unsupported, but a good temporary workaround until there’s an official setting. Tested on 1.1.23; newer versions need fresh inspection before patching.

If you want an immediate solution: Astra helped me patch the Linux app to use Berkeley Mono throughout the UI for about 30¢.
It modifies embedded CSS in a separate app copy, preserves icon/maths fonts, and survives restarts. The original AppImage stays untouched.
