Notes after 10/05 workshop #55

• Windows
  • sometimes fails installing neon cli in WSL
    • something like, "cannot find agent in $HOME" and skill doesn't have authority to change setup script so it raises to instructor.
    • resolved (at least 2/2 times) by specifying adding --agent claude-code to setup
  • Git is a prerequisite for Claude Code in the Desktop app on Windows(?). It would not allow them to select a folder without first installing Git.
  • One issue with a student successfully installing WSL but they didn't have "network" permission to access WSL in the File Explorer. Solution appears to be doing something with Windows Registry (https://stackoverflow.com/a/79711485)
