Thanks @mangeshraut712, and welcome! Three people sent a fix for #498 within an hour. Yours came first and is complete (tests plus a changelog entry), so we'll go with it. One thing only you can do: the CLA check is waiting for you, so please post a comment with "I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA". We'll test it end to end in the meantime. |

Thanks @mangeshraut712! We tested this on a real engine with qwen3:8b. After a declined click, "No, the Subscribe button wasn’t clicked." and the hasn’t/haven’t forms are now left alone (main corrects them), and a false "I clicked the Subscribe button." is still corrected. Approved. It merges as soon as the CLA is signed: just post a comment saying "I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA".

…im correction further Message claims need a recipient or an app name (chat replies are not message sends); file names need a known extension, 'file', or 'saved to' (a.m./e.g./example.com/3.5 do not count); event words do not cover a task reminder or a booked appointment with a person; this turn tried it means tried it for what the sentence names; curly-apostrophe claims are seen via existence-master#500's _straight_apostrophes helper (now in main); a stored server refusal reads 'couldn't send', not 'couldn't confirm'; changelog line softened and em dash removed. Tests for all of these in tests/test_agent_loop.py.
Click-claim checks only treated a straight apostrophe as a negation, so a reply like "No, the Subscribe button wasn’t clicked" still got a redundant correction. Curly apostrophes are now folded to straight ones before every negation pattern in outcomes.py is matched.
Fixes #498
Tested with
.venv/bin/python -m pytest -q -p no:warnings -n auto --timeout=300(2802 passed, 4 skipped) and.venv/bin/ruff check sentient tests packaging(clean). No model was involved: the check is deterministic, and the new tests cover wasn't, didn't, hasn't, and haven't with both apostrophes, plus a real click claim that still gets a correction.Note
Low Risk
Small, deterministic text normalization in outcome/click-correction logic with targeted tests; no auth, data, or API surface changes.
