Summary

  • install git in the runtime Docker image
  • keep the service process running as the existing non-root coding-agent user

Why

Verification

  • git diff --check -- Dockerfile
  • attempted docker build --build-arg PYTHON_BASE_IMAGE=python:3.12-slim -t coding-agent:runtime-git-verify .; blocked before Dockerfile execution because the configured Docker Hub mirror returned 403 for python:3.12-slim metadata

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Updated the runtime environment to include git and optimized the container image layer size.

Poem

🐰 A little git gets installed today,
In Docker's runtime, here to stay,
No bloat, just lean—apt caches away,
The agent loops through code, hip-hooray! 🚀
