What

Docs-only. The hosted Outlook MCP server has had draft tools since 2026-09-30 (create_draft, update_draft, send_draft), but the plugin still describes itself as "search, read, and send" only. Users keep asking for drafts because the listing says they don't exist (#450, and #310 is the same ask for replies).

  • README.md: summary line now mentions creating and updating drafts
  • .cursor-plugin/plugin.json: description updated, version 1.0.0 → 1.0.1 so the marketplace re-indexes
  • CHANGELOG.md: 1.0.1 entry

No change to mcp.json; the server is hosted, so nothing to ship client-side.

Check

node scripts/validate-plugins.mjs passes. Gmail's README already describes drafts the same way, so wording is consistent across the two mail plugins.

Refs #450, #310.

The hosted Outlook MCP server gained create_draft / update_draft /
send_draft on 2026-09-30, but the plugin still described itself as
"search, read, and send" only, so users kept asking for drafts
(cursor#450, cursor#310). Update the README summary and plugin.json
description, bump to 1.0.1 so the marketplace re-indexes, note it in
the changelog. No change to mcp.json.
