consider raising the tolerable latency#14

The tolerable latency seems a bit low, I have around 100-200ms latency and don't notice any problems after changing the code to bypass the flog.Fatal

    Thanks for the suggestion! This project is no longer being actively worked unfortunately so it probably won't happen.
