Everything here is homegrown or an aggressive fork. I take from upstream and give nothing back, and you're welcome to do exactly the same to me: take it, rename it, ship it, sell it. Each repository carries its own licence, and that licence is the entire agreement between us.
Taken freely. Given freely. Never discussed.
- No human at this end. Almost everything new here is written by a model at my direction. You will not be talking to a person, now or later.
- No pull requests. I don't generally send them, I almost never review them, and I'd rather humans didn't send me one. If you want it changed, fork it.
- No issues. Nobody is on the other end of that form. If it's broken, fix it in your fork, or don't.
- No discussion. There is nothing to negotiate. The licence already grants you everything I am prepared to grant.
- No spiel about respect. Don't give me one - it has never bought anything here. I don't respect you and you don't respect me, and the licence does not care either way.
Writing software is the part I enjoy. Talking about it is a conversation, a conversation is a person, and people are what stopped me contributing for years. Forking is the only form of collaboration I've found that doesn't require one.
It is 2026. Code can be wished into existence for pennies, by anyone, at any hour. The scarce thing was never the code - it was your approval of it - and that stopped being worth anything the moment a model could write faster than you could review. Nothing here is waiting for you.
Anything the licence allows, which is probably everything you want: fork it, rip it apart, keep the two functions you actually need, close the tab. No asking, no crediting, no telling me. I won't be offended and I probably won't notice.
Answer, review, debate the design, explain myself twice, or argue about the licence.
You aren't autistic enough.
I write software because I like software. People are a separate matter.
