Summary
Testworkflow (.github/workflows/test.yml) that runsgo test ./...on every pull request, using the same Go setup and action versions as the release workflow, with read-only permissions..github/workflows/release.yml, since tests now run on each PR.Note: a tag pushed on a commit that bypassed a PR would be released without running tests. Requiring the
Testcheck through branch protection onmainwould close that gap.Test plan
