feat(platform)!: rename builder to chat, client and webhooks - #340

Conversation
client.builder follows the AI chat, so it is now client.chat, with ChatModule, ChatSession and ChatInitOptions. Base44's terminology keeps "builder" for the Builder plan, the Builder GitHub App and people who build apps; the AI is "the AI" and the chat is "the AI chat". The new names also match useBase44Chat and the Apps API's chat/* endpoints. client.builder and the Builder* types stay as deprecated, hidden aliases of the same module until 1.0, so existing code keeps working. Module files move from builder*.ts to chat*.ts and the reference page from interfaces/builder to interfaces/chat. Webhook event types (builder.turn_started.v1, ...) are unchanged. The SDK has no users yet, so the rename is clean: client.builder and the Builder* types are gone rather than deprecated. The webhook event types follow Base44's rename to chat.turn_started.v1 and chat.turn_ended.v1 (ChatTurnStartedV1Data, ChatTurnEndedV1Data); the retired builder.turn_* names now verify as UnknownWebhookEvent. The SDK has no users yet, so this is a clean rename with no aliases:
client.builderand theBuilder*types are gone. A type test pins thatclient.builderno longer exists. The CHANGELOG's Unreleased entry marks it Breaking.Webhooks
The server types follow base44-dev/apper#32412:
chat.turn_started.v1andchat.turn_ended.v1(ChatTurnStartedV1Data,ChatTurnEndedV1Data) replacebuilder.turn_*. Base44 renames them in place (its only consumer, gameix, is handled in wix-private/gameix#334), so the old names are gone. Also
sync-asyncapiworkflow points at the renamedchat.events.generated.ts. Without that fix the hourly sync would stop committing.types-to-expose,appended-articles,page-sections) andexamples/client.ts.Merge after apper deploys
The webhook types were generated from that PR's schema files. On
main, the hourlysync-webhook-eventsjob fetcheshttps://base44.com/webhooks/schemas/chat.turn_*.json, which returns 404 until apper deploys. The same deploy updates the "the builder" descriptions still insidechat.events.generated.tsthroughsync-asyncapi.Heads-up
base44/javascript-sdk#338 also edits
appended-articles.jsonandtypes-to-expose.json. Whichever merges second needs a small rebase.Checks
npm test -w @base44/platform(types, 155 unit, docs, 9 package tests),npm run check:events, npm run lint, andnpm run create-docs, which producesinterfaces/chat.mdxwith noBuilder*pages.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
