Allow user to select multiple items by shift+clicking #210
To selecting contiguous blocks, the user can currently drag their mouse or hold shift while navigating up/down. This is implemented by setting a tail as the initially selected item and changing head as the user's mouse moves or as they navigate up/down
Additionally we should allow the user to shift-click to select all the lines between the clicked item and the last selected item
For comparison, this is what tree-view does. There are a couple inconsistencies I noticed.
shift-click behavior is inconsistent depending on which direction you're going:
Subsequent selections after initial selection (expected behavior)
Subsequent selections before initial selection (unexpected behavior)
Tree-view seems to always choose the top-most selected item as the tail.
Another inconsistency in tree-view is that you currently cannot select multiple items with keyboard navigation alone. shift-up/down does nothing.
