example_run_input_body is typed Any but only accepts a string #1102

Closed

Description

@vdusek

actor.update() types example_run_input_body as Any (_resource_clients/actor.py:122), but ExampleRunInput.body is str | None (_models.py:1400). Passing a dict, the obvious thing for a JSON input, fails with a pydantic ValidationError. Either type the argument as str or serialize non-string values (JSON for a dict, matching example_run_input_content_type). The same applies to actors().create().
