Purpose

Python admitted composite BTree indexes as scalar indexes, causing grouping failures when single-column indexes coexist and missing NULL matches through incorrect coverage.

Exclude unsupported composite BTree files from both reader selection and coverage, preserving usable single-column indexes, full/detail fallback, and existing fast-mode behavior.

Tests

  • Focused pytest suite: 133 passed; 33 skipped (optional paimon_vindex unavailable).
  • Regression coverage for coexistence, file order, partial coverage, NULL and compound predicates, and search modes.
  • Python Flake8, license headers, and git diff --check passed.

Exclude composite BTree files before scalar reader selection and coverage
calculation. Preserve usable single-column indexes and existing search-mode
fallback behavior, avoiding grouping failures and missing NULL matches.
