preserveSymlinks in defaults doesn't seem to work #7194

Repro steps.
- Run the command
ng build --preserveSymlinks - Notice that symlinks are preserved
- edit
.angular-cli.json'sdefaultssection to include preserveSymlinks for build

"preserveSymlinks": true

}
}
- Run the command
ng build - Notice that symlinks aren't preserved
Desired functionality.
ng build should either honor the preserveSymlinks property value set in defaults

The option isn't available in the version you are using. I think it's only really there in
@angular/cli@nextfor now, which will be the future1.3.0.angular-automatic-lock-bot commentedon Sep 7, 2019
