   This is done now:

   To test this for

   • cargo
   • nuget
   • gem

   • pub

   Install packageurl-python library by following the README https://github.com/package-url/packageurl-python/blob/main/README.rst
   and pass the purl of above ecosystems like this

   from packageurl.contrib.purl2url import get_download_url
   purl = "pkg:swift/github.com/Alamofire/Alamofire@5.4.3"
   download_url = get_download_url(purl)
   

   To test this for

   • pypi

   Install fetchcode library by following the README and pass the purl like this

   from fetchcode.download_urls import download_url as get_download_url
   purl = "pkg:pypi/requests@2.31.0"
   download_url = get_download_url(purl)

    @pombredanne we are making API call for pypi, that's why it is in fetchcode.
