The repository's front page, updated: a cleaner layout, current information, and pictures made again from the current app.

• Header: the release, license, C++23, Qt and platform badges, and Download, Manual, Developer README and Website links.
• Opening: Classic and Modern side by side.
• Get started:
  • the one-line setup for a store computer, and how phones, tablets and the store computer keep themselves up to date;
  • then building it to try, the demo PINs, and starting empty with your own menu.
• A look around: a picture grid that includes Modern's Tables (with the colors' key) and Pay (cash at one touch), then a row of phone pictures.
• What it does: trimmed into scannable bullets.

Up to date

• About 640 tests (was 590).
• Classic or Modern, updates by themselves, Toast import, factory reset to an empty store, and Android 9 or newer.
• Card payments said plainly: Stripe readers are optional, off to start, and not yet tried on a real reader, so until then, take cards on the processor's own terminal.
• The history's "Current Stack" now says it was the original's (the legacy branch), next to today's. The platform table gains 2026.
• The history, Gene's note, the contacts and the license are otherwise unchanged.

Pictures (modern/docs/screenshots, made from the manual's screenshot tests)

• All 14 existing pictures made again from the current app.
• 5 new ones: the two styles, plus Modern's Tables, Pay and phone. The manual's style test now also makes the Tables and Pay pictures.
