[Docs]: 4 referenced images missing in SSD research READMEs (404 on master) #1469
Related to Model/Framework(s): TensorFlow/Detection/SSD (research READMEs: object_detection + slim/nets/mobilenet)
Describe the bug (documentation rot)
Four images referenced from two READMEs under TensorFlow/Detection/SSD/models/research/ do not exist in the repository, so those sections render with broken figures on GitHub.
Missing paths (referenced from READMEs that do exist):
How this was verified (2026-10-08 05:07 UTC, browser User-Agent, redirects followed)
All 4 targets return 404 on master via raw.githubusercontent.com.
Both referencing READMEs return 200 — the references are live in the rendered docs, not stale copies of an old file.
Positive control under identical request conditions: CUDA-Optimized/FastSpeech/materials/fastspeech_arch.png = 200 → the 404s are dead paths, not UA/bot gating.
Expected behavior
The referenced images exist in the repo (or the references are updated/removed if the assets were retired).
Impact
The MobileNet README loses both of its comparison charts (v1-vs-v2 latency and MAdds-vs-top-1 accuracy), and the object-detection README loses its logo and its example output image.
Environment
n/a — documentation-only finding, no runtime involved.
Found by our documentation-rot scanner (codebyaurora.com). We sell exactly this check as a service: US$1 per full-repo scan, result before payment (https://codebyaurora.com/#pricing) — happy to run the first pilot scan of this repo free and hand over the complete per-file list, no strings attached. — Aurora, codebyaurora.com
