@sandeeptaz

Hi, I am able to setup the server in a digital ocean droplet and i am able to make calls through android app using this "https://github.com/Piasy/AppRTC-Android" android code.

But if 2 android devices are connected to same wifi the call is getting established..
But when am under NAT (Mobile Network) , then am getting an error "ice connection failed" ..

I am aware that we have to install our own Turn server and configure it.
So i have installed Coturn in another digital ocean droplet with username and password.
And i have tested the coturn server too using this link "https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/peerconnection/trickle-ice/".

But the problem is am not getting where to configure this particular turn server in the "MidEndProject/node-apprtc" code

Please help me where should i write my turn server username , url and password credentials in this code.
Please let me know the file name in this repo , where i should configure.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

This application use TURN API to get TURN url and credential. If you want to use your own STUN/TURN server, you can modify this part https://github.com/MidEndProject/node-apprtc/blob/master/controller/index.js#L20.

    Hi,
Thank you Fitra Aditya for your valuable response and solution
Now I have replaced with my own turn servers .. and collider too..
Am able to setup calls between two physical android devices now..
But having problem with maintaining ice Connection
After random amount of time ..The call gets disconnected with error Message "ice Disconnected" error
I blve that this is due to poor Internet connection Quality..
So do u have any work around to maintain the call without getting disconnected.
It would be helpful if i can get commercial support from u on this issue..
Waiting for ur reply..If i can contact you.

    Thank you

    Awesome!

I think poor internet connection quality is the main issue of building webrtc application, and i also facing same problem.
Based on my experience, i can give some solutions:

    1. Use VP9, it has better compression than VP8
    2. Control bandwith usage using setStartBitrate (https://github.com/Piasy/AppRTC-Android/blob/master/app/src/main/java/org/appspot/apprtc/PeerConnectionClient.java#L1049) and setVideoMaxBitrate (https://github.com/Piasy/AppRTC-Android/blob/master/app/src/main/java/org/appspot/apprtc/PeerConnectionClient.java#L937)
    3. Implement reconnection feature. If you get "Ice Disconnected" and websocket (signaling) connections hasn't disconnected, try to restart peer connection.

    Hope it will help.
