Senior Software Engineer & Product Engineer

I’m a software engineer based in Belgrade, Serbia, building software professionally since July 2017.

My work spans product development, backend systems, data pipelines, integrations, and cloud infrastructure-from understanding customer problems to implementation, rollout, and verification.

At ClickGUARD, I work primarily with Node.js and TypeScript across backend services, asynchronous processing, analytics, billing, integrations, and cloud infrastructure. My role combines software engineering with product engineering: investigating customer needs, evaluating trade-offs, and delivering practical solutions.

Previously, I built backend applications with Java and Spring Boot.

• Traffic classification and tracking: Implementing classification and evidence processing across tracking workers, MongoDB, and BigQuery, with controlled rollouts and compatibility with existing behavior.
• Data reliability: Building analytics pipelines, reconciliation processes, and recoverable historical backfills with staged publication, backups, and consistency checks.
• Billing and integrations: Developing payment and subscription workflows, CRM synchronization, and integrations with advertising platforms.
• Cloud efficiency: Optimizing BigQuery queries, reviewing infrastructure usage, and improving visibility into operating costs.
• Production reliability: Investigating concurrency issues, partial failures, and data inconsistencies, supported by regression tests and deployment verification.
